Policies
CancellationIf it becomes necessary to change or cancel a massage session we ask for 24 hours notice. Otherwise we ask our clients to pay for half the charge of the session and look forward to the next time we can work together.
Tardiness
Unexpected delays often occur. However, if a client arrives late for a scheduled session it is likely the session will need to be shortened. At NVMC sessions are 60 minutes of table time when the session begins on time. We ask that you plan on arriving a few minutes early to insure unexpected delays won't take away from your massage session. As a first time client you will be asked to fill out paperwork. Paperwork and assessments are not part of the 60 minute session. As a regular client a slight delay may occur prior to your session as the massage therapist prepares the room for you. The professional therapists at NVMC do their best to be ready for clients when they arrive, but minor delays occur as we do give our clients the option to extend their session when necessary. If a delay occurs in the start of your session, relax, have a cup of tea. We are doing our best to get you started on time.
Length of Sessions
Our policy is to do massage for the scheduled amount of time booked for the client. That means that a 60 minute session, that begins on or near the scheduled time would be at least 60 minutes of 'table time.' Clients should plan to leave a little extra time in their schedule on the day they book their appointment. Any paperwork, assessment, feedback and recommendations for follow up treatment are not included in table time.
Inappropriate Behavior
If any behavior is considered inappropriate including but not limited to off-color comments, sexual innuendo and/or rude requests the session will be terminated immediately and full payment is expected.
